This is my 1980 Nordica 16. I bought her in the summer of 2020. She lived a very, very hard and neglected life in Granbury, TX. I had big plans for her as soon as I picked her up, but life and a large house renovation got in the way. Well, I'm now working on her and the first order of business was to remove the old flotation foam. She had sat for quite a few years half filled with rain water.
The wood core in the cockpit and cabin sole are rotted so I've begun cutting them out for repair. Dirty, dirty job, but it has to be done. She's already shed about 50-75 lbs the little I've removed.
